At some point during the season we found out about this. It became clear that he had problems with bets. This worried us greatly. We instantly thought: “If he has gambling addiction, can he control it? Did he bet on Dota and our matches? Or even against OG? What’s going on?” So we immediately began an internal investigation.

We talked to everyone: the players, the coach and so on. It was necessary to make sure that he was the only one involved. Taiga was unaware of the investigation. We played tournaments then, it was not easy. We talked to the organizers, even Valve knew about the investigation. We hired professionals. <...>

We suspended him, benched him and brought in a replacement while we awaited the results of the investigation. As a result, he did not bet on Dota. We shared the results with the organizers and Valve. We were given the green light, but the situation took a toll on the team. The guys still had doubts: “What if?..”

In October 2023, Le spoke about his gambling addiction and psychological problems. According to the eSports player, he lost more money than he earned in his entire career. Since then, Taiga begins every morning with the phrase “Don’t bet, otherwise you’ll die.”
