The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stated that on March 24, 2023, news appeared in various news agencies and online media about Zipmex Company Limited (Zipmex). Payment of the contractual capital increase results in Zipmex’s problems and may lead to a reduction in the size of the business or its liquidation.
The SEC therefore sent a letter to the company on the same day (March 24, 2023) asking Zipmex to clarify the facts about the aforementioned case to the SEC about the impact on the company and its customers, including guidelines. The company’s further actions within March 29, 2023, along with informing that information should be disclosed to investors.
