Russian President Vladimir Putin is unaware that a secret meeting of representatives of Western countries and the global south was held in Copenhagen on June 24, press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov said.
“No, the Kremlin does not know anything about this, and, probably, you need to contact the ARD channel,” said Dmitry Peskov (quoted from TASS).
As the German media reported the day before, in Copenhagen in the strictest secrecy discussed peaceful resolution of the military conflict in Ukraine and negotiations between Kiev and Moscow in July 2023. According to media reports, the purpose of the conference, which was attended by US national security chief Jake Sullivan, was to get support from countries that have so far remained neutral, including Brazil, India, South Africa and China.
