Seiko has launched its Presage Cocktail Time GMT collection globally, bringing three new drink-inspired models featuring 40.5mm cases, automatic 4R34 movements, 41-hour power reserves, and a GMT complication to the UK and international markets.
The Global Rollout of the HCB004, HCB005, and HCB006 Lineup
Cocktails and horology rarely mix in mainstream manufacturing, yet Seiko continues to anchor entire product lines in beverage nomenclature. The manufacturer’s latest release expands the Presage Cocktail Time collection by introducing three distinct GMT references designed to reflect specific drinks and barware aesthetics.
Every piece in the trio runs on Seiko’s automatic 4R34 movement. This caliber powers the central hour, minute, and sweeping seconds hands, a date window, and an independent GMT hand configured for tracking a secondary time zone. Each watch utilizes a 40.5mm stainless steel case layout designed with textured dials meant to refract light like crystal glassware.
Pricing and Design Variations Across the Three New References
The collection spans three specific aesthetic executions, each tied to a distinct cocktail profile and priced accordingly. The entry point to the series is the HCB006, created to mark Seiko’s 145th anniversary. Developed alongside STAR BAR owner Hisashi Kishi, this limited-edition variant features an Edo Murasaki purple dial paired with a gold-colored GMT hand. Production is strictly capped at 6,000 pieces worldwide, retailing at £540.
Moving up in price, the HCB004 draws aesthetic inspiration from the Cuban Daiquiri. It features an off-white textured dial paired with a yellow-gold-tone stainless steel case and a matching bracelet. The HCB004 commands a retail price of £580.
The most expensive standard model in the trio is the HCB005, which takes its design cues from the Corcovado, a blend of tequila and blue curaçao. It deploys a deep blue dial set against a rose-gold-tone case, finished with a brown leather strap. The HCB005 carries a price tag of £590.
