Senegal to host November window of Afrobasket men’s 2025 qualifiers

Fiba has authorized Senegal to organize the 2025 men’s Afrobasket qualifiers window, scheduled for November 22 to 24, 2024.

The information was given by the Record newspaper. “We will host the November window at Dakar Arena. We had wanted to organize the men’s Afrobasket but Angola is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. It has a bunch of programs and the Afrobasket will be a way to involve the entire sports community knowing what basketball represents for this country. the source reported.

As a reminder, Senegal is in group B along with Cameroon, Gabon and Rwanda. Group A composed of South Sudan, DR Congo, Mali and Libya will also be competing in November.
