The indictment of the Senegalese opponent, Ousmane Sonko, has led to numerous demonstrations in the streets of major Senegalese cities including Dakar and Ziguinchor. Less than two hours following his indictment, his party, the PASTEF, was dissolved by decree. Alioune Sall, deputy member of PASTEF, and Seydou Guèye, spokesperson for the ruling party, the Alliance for the Republic, are the guests of the Journal de l’Afrique.
