Seo Jeong-hee appeared on the Tuesday invitation of KBS1’s ‘Morning Madang’, which aired on the 26th, and bluntly told the story of her battle with breast cancer.
Seo Jung-hee said that she has felt pain since 2007 and said, “I had had surgery before. This time she had cancer in her opposite breast.” She said, “Until she accepted the cancer, she thought, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ and she was diagnosed and she went crazy.
But I had to accept it, and I thought I had to get up again.”
“In most cases of breast cancer, hair falls out. Two weeks passed and my hair didn’t fall out, but as it started to hurt, my hair fell out one by one.” He said, “I’m wearing a wig. Her daughter took pictures and cut her hair.”
Seo Jung-hee said that she had completed the fourth chemotherapy after total resection and started targeted therapy. He said, “Despite the initial treatment, I had a total excision. I don’t have a breast right now, and I decided to rebuild it after putting in an expander for two more months. There may be other difficult surgeries, but I think it will be better than cancer.”
Also, referring to the news of his fake death, he said, “The saddest thing recently was that a video was uploaded to YouTube with the title ‘Seo Jeong-hee passed away’. I put myself in a portrait photo and uploaded a video. Many people thought they were actually dead and were surprised when they called. My family and relatives were also outraged. At that time, my heart ached so much. There were cases where clicks made them dead. Some people posted pictures of me shaved. I never uploaded it, but I found out that it was made of synthetic material.”
He added, “There were a lot of really good people, but there were also people who made me dead to increase the number of clicks.
Seo Jung-hee married comedian Seo Se-won in 1982, but divorced in 2015. She has 1 male and 1 female. She said last April that she was diagnosed with early breast cancer. She recently appeared on a YouTube channel run by her daughter Seo Dong-ju, who said that she “falls out a handful every time I touch her hair,” she confessed that she was suffering from side effects after chemotherapy.
