How Nord-West-Media-TV reported the vehicles were severely damaged. The fuel tanks were ruptured. The entire lane in the direction of Bremen is blocked. In addition, some of the vehicles on the car transporter had shifted and were also damaged. The three vehicles above even threatened to fall off the transporter. The police are now investigating because of insufficient load securing.

A long backlog formed. Gaffers would also cause severe traffic obstructions and a traffic jam on the southbound oncoming lane. The fire brigade is currently busy catching the escaping diesel fuel. There is also a special company with a cleaning vehicle on site. Since operating materials had also gotten into the ditch next to the motorway, the Lower Water Authority would also be used.

Full closure of the A1 towards Bremen should last for several hours

Parts of the soil would now probably have to be removed, reports Nord-West-Media-TV. The three truck drivers were lucky: they were not injured. The full lockdown is said to last for several hours. While the front truck of a Polish transport company can continue its journey despite damage to the rear, the car transporter is more severely damaged.

The worst would have been the accident vehicle behind: This was a dump truck with 25 tons of sand loaded, which had hit the rear of the truck with full force. The front axle was torn loose, the engine block deformed and the driver’s cab came to rest on the loading ramp of the car transporter.
