Setrag/CSR Policy-Donations of educational kits
LIBREVILLE, April 13 (Infosplusgabon) – In 2022, the Société d’exploitation du Transgabonais (SETRAG) has, in accordance with its CSR roadmap, provided support for poor children in under-integrated neighborhoods and orphans with school kits, reports a press release from press reached the editorial staff of Infosplusgabon.
The request was made by non-governmental organizations “Cri de Coeur” and “Association Akanda et Fils la Nouvelle Etoile”. This fit perfectly with the CSR policy of the operating company of the Transgabonais railway, which makes education one of the pillars of its community investment action.
To these NGOs, Setrag offered 1,500 school kits for learners at 3-year-old level and in the 5th year primary class. Remember that the distribution of this donation enabled the NGO Cri de Coeur to receive 1,000 kits and the 500 others donated to the association Akanda et Fils la Nouvelle Étoile.
On October 29, 2022, Cri de Coeur distributed this donation to children from difficult backgrounds, thus responding to its civic action which is “School for all 2022”.
But long before her, the Akanda et Fils la Nouvelle Étoile association had distributed hers to the children of the “Coeur d’ange” reception center and those from disadvantaged neighborhoods.
All these gratified children had never ceased to thank their benefactress, the Setrag.
