Seven-year-old boy drowned after falling into a pool in Isla de Maipo

One 7-year-old boy drowned following falling into a pool while camping in Maipo Island.

The Investigation police it’s found conducting research at the Sintech Field Center (site of the campsite), for determine how the events occurred.

The deputy commissioner of the PDI Gustavo Saez noted that “They went to the Hospital of the commune of Talagante in order to establish the causes that caused the death of the under the age of 7 in a swimming pool located in a private area in the commune of Isla de Maipo“.

“The statements were taken in said area (the campsite) with the purpose of establish the causes that caused his death as well as the responsibility of the private enclosure“added the detective.

It should be noted that, according to PDI reports, the compound it did not have permits to function as a place to camp or carry out recreational activities.
