Several Palestinian personalities unanimously congratulated Morocco following the qualification of the national football team for the round of 16 of the Qatar-2022 Football World Cup, said the Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency in a press release, relayed by the MAP.

The Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency announces that its offices in Morocco and Al-Quds, Palestine, have received congratulations from businessmen, directors of institutions and presidents of associations, religious personalities , public and academic and the general public, of the city of Al-Quds and other Palestinian cities, following this historic qualification of the Atlas Lions.

Likewise, the Agency received congratulations from local sports clubs, associations of former players and Palestinian personalities, bearing expressions of pride following these impressive results obtained by the eleven Moroccans during this World Cup in front of world-renowned teams and which are the result of the work, perseverance and spirit of a homogeneous and united team to achieve the objectives, whatever the vagaries and challenges.

“The messages of the Palestinian brothers praised the presence of many Palestinian flags among the Moroccan public in the stadiums, the main squares and high places of Qatari cities”thus reflecting the special place occupied by Palestine in the hearts of Moroccans, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, the statement added, noting that Palestinian streets, houses and shops were decorated with flags of the Kingdom of Morocco, as a sign of cohesion between the two brotherly peoples.

And to note that the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM the King, highly salutes the fine performance of the national team at the Qatar-2022 World Cup, expressing the wish that the sports teams Arabs continue to rise to the forefront of the world sporting scene.
