several rallies for peace this Saturday in Brussels

One “rally for peace“was organized on Saturday around 1 p.m. at the Carrefour de l’Europe, in front of the Brussels-Central station, to demand an end to the war in Ukraine. The demonstrators, who numbered around one hundred and fifty, according to our journalist on the spot, are asking that arms deliveries cease and showed their solidarity with the victims of the conflict.

The demonstrators held up banners that read “Terrorist Putin“, “Has history taught us nothing?” or “No bombs but peace“. Some demonstrators also carried communist flags.

This gathering was notably organized by the organizations “Other Europe“, “Act for Peace“, CNAPD, COMAC, Intal, Forum Nord Sud, Mouvement Chrétien pour la Paix, Pax Christi Vlaanderen, Vrede vzw et Vredesactie.
