Only 600 kilometers separate Cyclone Tej from the southern parts of the Arabian Peninsula, specifically the coasts of Yemen and Oman. It is expected that its impact will begin indirectly tomorrow, Monday, while the impact will be direct next Tuesday. The situation will be accompanied by high-speed winds and very heavy rains, ranging in quantity between 150 and 600 mm, leading to severe valley flooding in parts of the Dhofar and Al-Mahra governorates, in addition to parts of Al-Wusta and Hadramaut.
