Kalpatta: A holiday has been declared for educational institutions in Kozhikode and Wayanad districts on Monday in the wake of heavy rains. The District Collectors have announced holidays for educational institutions including Professional College and Anganwadi. There is no change in pre-scheduled exams.
The Central Meteorological Center has announced orange alert in four districts including Wayanad and Kozhikode today. The Meteorological Center has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Wayanad, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod districts on Monday. A yellow alert has also been announced in these districts on Monday.
