It is a key decision that fell on Tuesday evening: by 93 yes against 86 no and 3 abstentions, the National Council decided to fight more actively against sexual harassment in Swiss public markets. “Sexual harassment in the workplace is not uncommon. According to the latest national study, which dates from 2009, 28.3% of women and 10% of men are victims of it at least once in their professional life. This is the observation on which the motion “Protection against sexual harassment in public procurement”. And what would the post-#MeToo 2022 numbers say?
