This is how it happened
A report came out yesterday that the SFI woman leader who was going with her friend on a scooter was beaten up by the DYFI leader who was also a former friend. The complaint was raised against DYFI Haripad Area Joint Secretary Ambadi Unni. It was reported that she was beaten up with a helmet and the girl, who is an office bearer of Kerala University Union, Nangyarkulangara TKMM College, a third year degree student, Chinnu Haripad Taluk Hospital sought treatment. The incident took place near Kumarapuram panchayat office on Monday evening. But the police did not file a case as no complaint was filed. It is reported that the case was settled due to pressure from CPM-DYFI leaders.
