A post published by the Egyptian artist, Shaima Seif, through her personal account on Instagram, sparked a wave of controversy, in which she criticized the nudity of some girls and women in summer resorts and on beaches this year.
Saif said some girls wear swimsuits everywhere, not only at the beach, noting that they consider it part of the underwear.
Saif added, “The salvation of summer ends, but unfortunately its effects are complementary.. Throughout our life, we look at the sea and see the shapes and colors of swimsuits..But this year, the nudity beyond description remained worn everywhere, not only on the sea.”
And Saif continued: “The swimsuit top (which in my opinion is part of the underwear, and this is the most polite description I can say) remains the official dress for girls, and on top of it is a swimsuit that shows more than what is covered.”
And Saif continued: “These girls do not have a father, a husband, or a brother. Their heart eats them over them, and the blood runs through their veins??.. Where is the fraternity of men.. Where is the shyness of girls.. The misfortune is that all ages and all sizes do not differentiate.. The issue has increased greatly under the umbrella of that Don’t be ashamed of the body and empty words, where is the modesty?
And she added: “This body is supposed to be preserved, we do not enjoy others with it. The mistake is wrong, even if all people did it. The mistake is wrong, even if it becomes a habit for everyone. I would prefer to say this is wrong even if I was the only one who said it. Walking behind the herd unconsciously.
And she concluded by sending a message to the audience, calling for them to be guided and steadfast in religion, values and morals, as she said: “Our Lord, show us the truth as truth, and grant us its followers, and show us falsehood as falsehood and avoid its followers.”
