With a full row of 24 players, Sharjah (the King) launched his outdoor summer camp in the Austrian city of Graz.
Otabek Shukurov was one of the most prominent absentees from the internal preparation period for the king, as the midfielder enjoyed an additional period of rest due to his participation with the Uzbek national team last June in the third stage of the qualifiers for the 2023 Asian Nations Cup.
However, Shukurov joined the ranks, like the rest of the foreign players, and flew with the team to Austria.
Only Hamad Fahd, who has been in Serbia for the past two weeks, is currently missing from the King’s training.
Fahd participated in the external preparation camp for the UAE Olympic team, which was concluded recently, as Al-Abyad is preparing to participate in the West Asian Under-23 Championship.
