Sharjah – «Gulf»
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, approved, on Monday, the general budget of the Emirate of Sharjah for the next year 2023, with total expenditures of 32 billion and 240 million dirhams.
This was announced by Walid Al-Sayegh, Director General of the Central Finance Department in Sharjah, during a telephone intervention on the direct line program broadcast by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
The budget includes operating expenses by 30%, wages and salaries by 28%, capital projects by 14%, support and aid by 13%, loan repayments by 13% and capital expenditures by 2%.
