After a downpour, the Shchuchka River and the Bezymyanny Creek overflowed their banks.
– I am in the Upornensky rural settlement, where the water level has risen in the Shchuchka River and the Bezymyanny Creek. They overflowed their banks and flooded the highway, – wrote the head of the Labinsk district Vladimir Zaburaev in his Telegram channel.
He clarified that the destruction of the crossing from the Sladkovsky settlement to Upornensky had begun.
Since the children’s camp “Dream” began its work and there was a threat of flooding of the path to it, it was decided to evacuate the children who were there and return them home. For this, buses were sent to the camp. Children were taken out of the flood zone.
According to the regional hydrometeorological center, on June 6 and 7, in some places in the Krasnodar Territory and in Krasnodar, a complex of meteorological phenomena is expected: heavy rain, downpour, combined with thunderstorms, hail and squally wind increase of 20-23 m/s.
