A 22-year-old woman who took her dead two-year-old baby to a hospital in Merlo last Thursday was arrested after the autopsy revealed that the little girl died from various blows.
The woman’s partner, a 26-year-old man identified as Darío Chamorro, was also arrested for the incident.
According to publish Clarionthe woman identified as Milagros Esther Torres arrived on Thursday at the Héroes de Malvinas de Merlo hospital with her daughter Milena in her arms, no longer vital signs.
According to the woman’s account, around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, she was careless while cooking and Milena fell out of the bed where she was resting.
She said that the next day the little girl woke up vomiting and convulsing.
The doctors doubted the version because the baby had blows that were not compatible with a fall.
The Police intervened and, finally, the prosecutor Alejandra Suárez Corripio ordered the autopsy.

The expert report revealed that Milena suffered a very strong blow to the head, a laceration to the liver with internal bleeding, blows to the abdomen, and a fissure in the tibia of her right leg that dated back a month.
In addition, they concluded that the baby had been in agony throughout the night and that her death had occurred several hours before her mother took her to the hospital.
With this evidence, the Justice decided to change the cover of the case and the arrest of the mother and her partner.
The woman was charged and her partner is charged with the crime of simple homicide, since he is not the biological father of the victim.
Finally, the Justice decided to relocate another 4-year-old son of Chamorro.
The same measure was taken with the remaining one-year-old younger half-brother of Milena.
As it turned out, both had signs of physical abuse.
