Shenzhen, China subsidizes citizens to buy electronic products up to RMB 2,000 per person – Hong Kong unwire.hk

Shenzhen, China launched a subsidy program for the purchase of consumer electronics and household appliances yesterday. Citizens can receive up to 2,000 yuan (about HK$2,380).

The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued the “Guidelines for the Subsidy Application for Purchase of Consumer Electronics and Household Appliances in Shenzhen” to continue to expand domestic demand, promote consumption, drive production, and encourage consumers to purchase consumer electronics and household appliances. Users can get sales when purchasing mobile phones, computers, headphones, stereos, smart home appliances, smart wearable devices, consumer drones, smart home robots, TV sets, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, kitchen appliances, and small household appliances 15% subsidy on price.

During the event, each person can receive a maximum subsidy of up to RMB 2,000. The subsidy activity period starts from May 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022. Due to budget constraints, the subsidy will be collected on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Shenzhen, China announced a 500 million yuan (about HK$595 million) consumer voucher program earlier, and this 100 million yuan subsidy is part of the program.
