Hossam Lotfy, the lawyer of the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, revealed that she lost a million dollars after her accounts on social media platforms were stolen. The reason is that she trusted a person who was working as her business manager for a period, but he seized her social platforms and took possession of their revenues. He explained that he filed a report against the thief of her social accounts, and that he is currently under investigation, as the penalty for this type of crime reaches three years in prison with financial compensation.
Lotfy pointed out that this person published Sherine’s songs on those pages, and caused legal problems between her and the production company, as he published the song “Bahlaflik” without obtaining her approval, which exposed Sherine to a problem and consequently lost revenues from her platforms.
