I finished the race to the end in a very tight battle between Justice Party candidate Shim Sang-jung and huge bipartisan candidates, but I received a lower score than expected.

Candidate Shim said he felt responsible for not being able to overcome the barrier of two-party politics.

Also, a donation amounting to 1.2 billion won was poured out overnight, and he said he would pay it back while serving in a white coat.

Reporter Cho Myung-ah will tell you.

Candidate Sang-Jeong Shim’s fourth presidential challenge, who wanted to fulfill her last role in 20 years of progressive politics.

However, the final voter turnout rate was 2.37%, less than half of the 19th presidential election.

Women in their 2030s, who had expected their support amid a fierce bifurcation, leaned toward Lee Jae-myung at the end of the election, recording the lowest number of votes among the progressive party’s presidential campaigns that began in earnest in 2002.

“This poor report card is the limit of the first-generation progressive politics, which has not been able to overcome the barrier of bipartisan politics, and it is Shim Sang-jung’s responsibility.”

Some criticized it as a devastating defeat, but the atmosphere at the ceremony for disbanding the predecessors was not somber.

First of all, the donation raised yesterday was 1.2 billion won.

It seems that the supporters’ sorry for not voting has led to the sponsorship, but Shim said that he received great comfort.

“There are many citizens who have had to change their numbers while swallowing tears. We ask for your support in the subsequent local elections.”

The Justice Party evaluated that candidate Shim was the only candidate to raise the issue of resolving the climate crisis, inequality and discrimination, replacing the ‘voice of the erased people’.

In particular, he urged the people to carefully pay attention to the warnings of women in their 20s and 30s against the politics of misogyny and division.

“I think that the new victory of the elected Yoon Seok-yeol is the ‘declaration of bankruptcy’ of Lee Jun-seok-sik’s anti-feminist far-right agitation politics.”

The Justice Party plans to reorganize its ranks with the local election system in June without resignation of the leadership, and to focus its party power on introducing a major constituency system for basic members of the National Assembly prior to this.
