Shipments to Córdoba grew again above inflation in September

Despite the strong inflation boost in recent months, national co-participation shipments have continued to grow in real terms. They rose in August and, now, in September.

The increase is a relief for the accounts of Juan Schiaretti’s government, since the income that comes from the Nation represents just over six of every 10 pesos that the Province collects.

In nominal terms, Córdoba received $120,559.2 million last month, 139.6% more than in the same period of 2022.

Estimating the price increase in September (the precise data will be known next week), it can be calculated that transfers through co-participation were around 14 percentage points above inflation in the interannual comparison.

Between January and August, they represented exactly 61.8% of the total funds that the Honeycomb had so far in 2023.

Within these shipments, those that play a leading role are the Value Added Tax (VAT) and Profits, since they represent 90% of this type of taxes.

If we analyze everything so far this year in transfers to the provinces, Córdoba received a total of $792,958.5 million in the first nine months, 114.9% more than the $368,965 million received in the same period of 2022.
