Shocking Animal Cruelty: German Man Discovers Fox with Arrow in its Head in Blumberg, Baden-Württemberg

A German makes a terrifying animal observation in his garden in Blumberg in the state of Baden-Württemberg: he sees a small fox with an arrow in its head. The bullet pierces the head above the forehead – the animal is still alive.

Before the observer can react, the fox is already gone. He hasn’t seen him since then.

The German tells the “Südkurier” that he is aware that foxes are not popular everywhere. But: “Which people have the right to do something like that to an animal?”

He mightn’t understand how anyone might do something like this on their own. «The animals live with us in the world. He’s just looking for his food,” says the German. Now, as a “dog owner”, he is afraid that his red-haired dog might also be affected.

Sven Jager from the local forestry office is beside himself. “It’s a huge mess,” he says to the “Südkurier”. “It was certainly not a hunter” – this is a “criminal offense”. According to the German wildlife law, hunting with a bow and arrow is prohibited.

Now try to find out where the fox is. On the one hand, it is regarding relieving the animal of its suffering. On the other hand, the arrow might provide the local police with information regarding the perpetrators.
