The editor-in-chief of Al-Diyar newspaper, journalist Charles Ayoub, indicated that “the most fortunate person for the presidency is the army commander, General Joseph Aoun.”
In an interview via “Spot Shot”, within the “Viewpoint” program, Ayoub said: “The difference is all between Joseph Aoun and President Aoun, the latter was a corrupt era.”
He continued, “The first session to elect the president confirmed that the presidential vacuum has become inevitable.”
He concluded: “The economic situation will explode following Aoun leaves Baabda Palace, and the dollar will cross the threshold of 100,000 Lebanese pounds.”
