On Saturday evening, following 11 p.m., a woman was walking on a neighborhood street in Sedrun GR with her ten-month-old Weimaraner dog. As the Graubünden cantonal police reported on Tuesday, a shot suddenly rang out. The leashed dog, which was running in front of the woman along a meadow border, collapsed.

The owner notified the Graubünden cantonal police. That same night, police tracked down a 79-year-old local resident, a hunter. He admitted firing the shot. Together with the Graubünden public prosecutor’s office, the cantonal police are working with the Wildhut to clarify the exact circumstances of this missed shot.
