As we wrote, the first round of performers of this year’s Heineken Balaton Sound festival arrived last December, including James Hype, Paul Kalkbrenner, Marshmello, Timmy Trumpet, John Newman and the Purple Disco Machine. One of the first festivals of the summer will be held in Zamárdi between July 3 and July 6. The organizers already announced the previous week on Balaton Sound’s social media pages that they would publish the names of the additional performers on February 13, which they did at exactly 10 a.m. and announced the arrival of thirty new performers.
As written in the announcement sent to our editors, at this year’s festival “the forefront of mainstream electronic music will have the same place as the best of underground electronics, so with the names just announced, the list of increasingly popular hard techno and hardstyle artists will also be significantly strengthened”. As they write, several changes will await visitors this year, as the main entrance will be moved to a new location and the location of the main stage will change, thus giving the audience a more comfortable space.
