RALEIGH, North Carolina. – Heriberto Agama Rentería, 42, was found wounded by a gunshot at an address where a meeting was taking place in the city of Winston Salem.
Heriberto was found at approximately 3:17 am on August 13 at 5005 Voss Street.
Authorities said Heriberto had a gunshot wound to the lower leg and was taken to Atrium Health Baptist Medical Hospital for treatment. In addition, it was said that the gunshot wound does not put his life at risk.
What is known about the shooting in Voss Street
Preliminary investigation revealed that the residents of 5005 Voss Street held a social gathering at the home.
“Mr. Agama-Renteria, an acquaintance of the owner, came to the residence uninvited and assaulted the owner. At one point, a partygoer (known to owner/robbery victim) brandished a handgun and shot Mr. Agama-Renteria,” Winston Salem Police said.
