A Shure announced its new microphone dedicated to podcasterso MV7+. An evolution of the MV7, the model has a series of improvements that make it even more powerful and versatile than the previous generation, which arrived on the market in 2020.
One of the most prominent new features is the new touch sensitive LED panelwhich can be customized with millions of color options and also serves as a shortcut that allows you to mute the microphone with a single tap during a recording.
It also has improved connections, such as outputs XLR e USB-C — an evolution compared to the previous microphone, which had a traditional Micro-USB port. The new feature allows you to connect the microphone more easily to modern devices, including iPhones 15.
Relying on technology Voice Isolationto separate the captured voice from undesirable sounds in the environment, the MV7+ also had its Auto Level enhanced, which makes it possible to adjust microphone gain based on distance, volume, and spatial sensing.
Com denoiser In real time e reverb adjustable with three different configurations (Plate, Hall e Studio), the microphone is also equipped with a new Digital Popper Stopperwhich “removes unpleasant booming sounds to avoid acoustic distractions in audio tracks.”
Currently available in black (and in the future also in white), the MV7+ is being sold at US$280 — US$30 more than the official price charged for the MV7. In Brazil, the brand’s products are available at authorized resellers.
