During his program, “My Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge,” broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, Muwafi confirmed that the swelling of one foot may indicate a blood clot, and not the existence of a chronic disease cause.

And about the most important causes that lead to swelling of the feet, he added: “The presence of a problem in the heart, liver, and kidneys, as diabetes is one of the most important diseases that affect the kidneys, and when complications occur, swelling of the feet occurs.”

Muwafi advised: “When the feet of a patient suffering from diabetes and kidney problems swell, a medical analysis must be done for “albuminuria” in the urine for 24 hours, and albumin while it is in the blood prevents tumors, and if it appears in the urine, it leads to swelling of the feet. .

Mowafi warned: “Leaving liver fat untreated, it causes cirrhosis of the liver, and albumin is produced and decreased in the blood, which leads to swelling of the feet. Diabetics are susceptible to heart disease, coronary artery disease, and among the complications resulting from heart disease are swollen feet.”
