While race enthusiasts typically wait for the gates to open alongside the main event, promoters are offering a different path this season. The public ballot gives thousands of fans an exclusive window into the paddock before the Circuit Park officially swings open for the race weekend, which runs from October 9 to October 11.
Ballot Details and Eligibility Rules for the Pit Lane Walk
The ballot is currently open and closes on September 18 at 11.59pm Singapore time. Entry is restricted to Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Applicants do not need to hold a ticket to the grand prix weekend to register for the draw.
Promoter Singapore GP announced the initiative on September 2, noting that each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets for the October 8 event. Winners will be notified separately after the ballot closes. Beyond walking down the pit lane to view team garages and cars up close, attendees gain access to the Zone 1 F1 Village and its evening interactive activities.

The Thursday Pit Lane Experience operates under the broader RevUpSG activities umbrella, designed to engage fans well in advance of the engine roars on the main track. The Marina Bay layout is hosting its 17th Singapore Grand Prix since 2008, with Mercedes driver George Russell holding the most recent victory from the 2025 race.
This year’s race schedule introduces a major competitive twist. The 2026 edition will feature a sprint race for the first time on October 10, setting the stage for the iconic night race on October 11. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli currently leads the drivers’ championship standings with 242 points, closely pursued by Russell and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who share 183 points apiece.
