Singer Aud Rey was the guest of RTL Avec Vous on Wednesday 16 January. This young pop music singer is delighted to produce very danceable music “although the themes can sometimes be dark”.
In his new Ep, entitled “How long”, the artist opens up. She recounts in particular a situation in which she finds herself locked up for a long time and from which it is impossible for her to extract herself. “I was in a situation for a very long time that I couldn’t get out of, mainly because of the codes of society that don’t let us be who we are. In the end, I come to terms with it. liberate. And that’s what I wish for everyone”, she confides.
Aud Rey writes her own songs. When she was already a teenager, these are poems that she wrote after having known “the love of words” thanks to a French teacher. It was only a few years later that the singer decided to make this passion her profession. “It did not please those around me. It was not something that I gave myself the right to do. When I freed myself from all that, I finally had the chance to be able to live my passion”, she says.
