The French singer, Florent Pagny, announced Tuesday to suffer from lung cancer.
In a short video titled “Sorry!” and shared on his social media, the 60-year-old artist shared a short video titled “Sorry!” on his social networks, explaining that he had to cancel the end of his concert tour.
“I have to make a somewhat special announcement, I will not be able to finish my 60th birthday tour. I have to cancel all of my concerts due to a health problem. I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the lung, a cancerous tumor that is not very sympathetic and cannot be operated on, ”he says to his admirers.
“I have to go into a six month protocol of chemotherapy and x-rays. I’m sorry. You all know that in life, the most important thing is health and when you have a problem it becomes a priority.
The artist specifies that the French will however see him as a coach in the 11th season of “The Voice” (“The Voice”), since a large part of the programs are already recorded.
“Me and my better half are putting ourselves in warrior mode to face this rather special ordeal (…) When all this is settled, we will meet again, I will come back to finish what I started. It will perhaps be the tour of the 61”.
