The draw for the first main round of the Swiss Cup was made with four regional groups. Sion will travel to the field of Chênois (1st league), Servette in Nyon (PL).
The matches of this 1st round (thirty-second finals) will take place between Friday 19 and Sunday 21 August.
Lugano, the defending champion, will start against the Glarus resident of the 1st league of Linth 04. The Swiss champion Zurich will rub shoulders with Cham (Promotion League), former scorer of Servette.
Young Boys will make the short trip from Schoenberg (2nd league) to Fribourg. This is the first club of the international Felix Mambimbi.
Challenge League clubs in Romandie were spared. They will face three of the 2nd league teams: Gland – Lausanne-Sports, Audax-Friul – Neuchâtel Xamax and Italian CS (2nd i) – Stade Lausanne-Ouchy.
