How its historic center, factories, St. Michael’s Basilica were destroyed. They saw the missile hit Kharkov. How its historic center, factory and Cathedral of the Assumption were damaged. They remember that London was bombed for 57 consecutive nights. Remember how the V-2 attacked Belfast, Portsmouth and Liverpool. They saw cruise missiles hit Nikolayev, Kramatorsk, Chernihiv. The French remember this. Remember Oradour-sur-Glane, where the SS burned 500 women and children alive. Mass hanging in Thule, massacre in the village of Asker. Thousands held a resistance rally in occupied Lille. They saw what happened in Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Volnovakha and Trostyanets. They saw the occupation of Kherson, Melitopol, Berdyansk and other cities that people did not give up. Zelensky told the people at the end of his speech that we will overcome everything. We know this for sure because our military and all of our people are descendants of those who defeated Nazism. So they will win again.
He said that we will win the winter that starts on February 24th and lasts until May 8th, but it will definitely end and the Ukrainian sun will melt it! We will greet our dawn with the nation. Family and loved ones, friends and relatives will be together again!
