Count your breath for a deep sleep

Get ready for bed and then lie on your back in bed. Optionally, place both hands comfortably on your stomach to feel your breathing better. With this breathing exercise you don’t change your breath, you just become aware of it and concentrate on it. As you breathe in, mentally count «1». On the exhale, repeat «1». On the next breath “2”, then “3” until you get to “10” and then count backwards once more. Every time your mind slips and you forget to count, just start over until you drift off to sleep.
