27 meters.

Pilot Lucas Chepiera took on the challenge by operating a specially made light aircraft capable of landing and stopping at a distance of 21 meters. “The biggest challenge was the lack of any external landmarks to gauge distances and such that you would normally find at an airport with a runway several hundred meters long,” he recalled.

Chepiera’s original occupation is a pilot of the Airbus A320. But he is also known for feats like landing a plane on a wooden pier in his native Poland, as well as being a World Champion in the Red Bull Air Race.
