WhatsApp, The instant messaging app has released one of its most anticipated functions. It’s about the option to pin messages the app chats.

This tool will allow users stand out those messages that are important to remember, Plus it will save users a lot of time to find these. And the most important thing is that the function not only applies to text messages, but also to images, surveys, emojis, among others.

The feature is available in both one to one conversations, as well as in group chats. And as is customary, WhatsApp has highlighted that the messages will retain their end-to-end encryption.

How to pin messages in WhatsApp chats?

If you want to use this function you will have to follow these steps:

Enter the chat in which you want to post a message.
Find the message to pin and press and hold it.
Several options will appear, including the one that says “Pin.” Click there.
Ready! With this, your message will be fixed to the conversation.

It is worth noting that the message can remain pinned by 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. You can choose any of these times, just remember to change it since the default option is 7 days.

On the other hand, in the one to one chatseither of the two people who are communicating can post messages, while in the group chat Administrators have the option to select if all members or just administrators can post messages.
