Sydney/Auckland – Netflix is planning a documentary about the USA women’s national soccer team, which will focus on the hunt for a third consecutive World Cup title in Australia and New Zealand. The series is due out later this year and is already in production, the streaming giant said. It ties in with other Netflix sports documentaries, including “Break Point,” which looks behind the scenes at the tennis circuit, and “Formula 1: Drive to Survive.”
