The National Rally (RN) is joining the already electric debate on the solidarity and urban renewal law known as “SRU”. This Tuesday, the RN deputy for Bouches-du-Rhône, Franck Allisio, presents a bill which plans to revise this text, and the rule which requires a certain number of municipalities to have 25% of social housing on their territory at the horizon 2025.
The stated objective? Respond to the annoyance of certain city councilors, who consider this objective and the resulting penalties in the event of non-compliance to be too high.
