In the municipality of bimbo, a group of disgruntled young people blocked the passage of Minusca vehicles, through the “stop minusca” campaign

It was at the southern exit of the Central African capital, Bangui, that the scene occurred. Residents of Bimbo blocked the road to vehicles of the UN Peacekeeping Mission in the Central African Republic. They used the mode of the anti-Minusca campaign to publicly express their opinion. “Stop Minusca” is a campaign slogan adopted by the population in the Central African Republic to express their disagreement with Minusca. Through this slogan, which has become popular in the country, the population denounces the inaction of blue helmets in the face of attacks by armed groups which terrorize civilians and oppose the authority of the Central African State. This campaign is used in almost all the cities of the country against the presence of UN blue helmets. Today, the inhabitants of Bimbo came out to prevent the circulation of Minusca vehicles to denounce the passivity of this UN mission which has been almost 8 years in the country without satisfactory results.
