Sonic Origins will not include the original Sonic 3 & Knuckles soundtrack, made known from Sega. The information was released by the social media manager, Katie Chrzanowski, in a Sega broadcast.
Although unfortunately we cannot use all of the original sounds from the Sega Genesis version of the gameJun Senoue has been working very hard to adapt the original music that was composed in 1993 for Sonic Origins.”
As he added “He has gone so far to reproduce it, using the same sound chip from the Sega Genesis, and using their own collection of digital audio tapes to make this as true to the originals as possible.”
It should be remembered that Senoue has been linked to the franchise since the third installment of the saga.
Sonic Origins, a collection with the classic games of the saga, It will be released on June 23.
