The platform Oricon reported that, one week after its release in Japan, the anime’s third Blu-ray/DVD compilation package Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) accumulated 9,162 copies sold. This third package includes two episodes and the cover is starring the character Sajuna Inuiwho appears wearing the character’s cosplay Black Lily.
This second package was released on May 25 in Japan and includes the fifth and sixth episodes of the project, with some extended scenes and audio commentary from the voice cast. The Blu-ray version is priced at 7,700 yen (about 63 US dollars) and accumulated 8,200 copies soldwhile the DVD version is priced at 6,600 yen (about 54 US dollars) and accumulated a total of 962 copies sold. It should be remembered that the second package accumulated 9,335 copies sold in its first week, for which there was a reduction of 1.85 percent.
The portal Akiba News shared an article showing the contents of this third Blu-ray/DVD package and how it is being promoted in various stores in Japan.
The series Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru premiered during the Winter-2022 season (January-March) in Japan and had a total of twelve episodes, while the platforms Crunchyroll y Funimation are responsible for its distribution in the West, also with a dubbing into Latin Spanish. For its part, Shinichi Fukuda publish the manga in the magazine Young Gangan from the publisher Square Enix since January 2018.

Engrossed in the family business of traditional doll making, Wakana Gojou is a reserved first-year high school student with no friends. With the painful memory of a childhood friend’s disdain for his interest, Gojou can’t relate to his classmates and his hobbies, causing him to isolate himself. Gojou has not yet perfected the making of the dolls’ faces, but he is exceptionally skilled at making his clothes. His skill with the sewing machine is soon discovered by his beautiful classmate Marin Kitagawa, whose boldness and honesty Gojou both admires and envies. She instantly shares his own hobby with Gojou: he likes to dress up as erotic video game characters.
However, Kitagawa does not know how to sew her own suits, which leads her to seek Gojou’s expertise. Being drawn into the lovely girl’s endless adventures related to cosplay, Ella Kitagawa becomes the first friend of hers who fully accepts her. Thus, although they are polar opposites, their relationship slowly flourishes thanks to her ability to help each other in the intricate world of cosplay.
