Speaking with Eurogamer at the BAFTA Games Awards, the studio Housebrand expressed the hope that the forthcoming issue Returnal in Playstation Plus will attract a large audience to the game.
Managing Director Housemarque Ilari from Quittin thinks it’s “great” that Returnal will be included in the updated PS Plus, which launches in June with a three-tier membership option.
“As you know, it’s been quite a while since the release. And we know that the people who are involved in [подписках], play a lot. Sony is making wise decisions, such as funding this game. They started funding it five years ago in a bold move.”
Returnal has become the main victor BAFTA Games Awardswinning in four categories, including “Game of the Year“.
Last month the project received major free update 3.0, which added co-op and endless tower mode. Now Housemarque is making a new IP.
