A fire broke out in the Lotte Cinema building in Bupyeong District, Incheon, South Korea on the morning of the 3rd. Flames and thick smoke burst out of the building. The fire authorities sent hundreds of people to fight the fire. No casualties have been confirmed yet.

The Incheon Fire Department pointed out that the authorities received a fire report at around 11:51 a.m. local time. It was said that there were many guests in the burning building. The local fire department dispatched 35 pieces of equipment and 122 manpower to fight the fire.

The fire was brought under control around 2 p.m. and casualties are being confirmed floor by floor.

The building has 14 floors above ground and 4 floors underground, and the location of the fire is still unclear. In the footage exposed on social media, flames were clearly visible outside the building, and thick smoke enveloped the building.
