The firefighters intervened during the day for numerous trees that fell during the night in particular, but gusts of wind accompanied by incessant rain affected the regions of Bouillon, Étalle, Virton, Arlon at the end of the day on Tuesday.

Around thirty firefighters from the Southern barracks were on standby to clear the roads blocked by trees or empty the cellars. Numerous electrical cables littered the ground. This is how a major power cut lasting one hour occurred shortly before 8 p.m. in the commune of Messancy and part of that of Aubange.

Southern rivers were on alert, but the situation was still under control at the start of the night.

The weather unfortunately did not look very good for the night.
