Social democratic themes are convincing – congratulations also to Egger and the other SPÖ candidates who were able to prevail in the runoff election
Vienna (OTS/SK) – SPÖ federal party chairman Andreas Babler and SPÖ federal managing director Klaus Seltenheim congratulate Bernhard Auinger “on his great success” today, Sunday. The SPÖ candidate Auinger has proven that social democratic issues are convincing. “The fact that Bernhard Auinger was able to win back the mayor’s office for the SPÖ is the result of the full commitment of Auinger and his team, who ran a great election campaign. Congratulations!” says Babler. Seltenheim emphasizes that “the core issue of housing and unaffordable rents certainly played a central role in Salzburg.” ****
SPÖ candidates were also able to win the runoff elections in several other municipalities. Babler and Seltenheim “warmly congratulate the SPÖ state party chairman David Egger, who was able to prevail in the runoff election for mayor in Neumarkt am Wallersee.” Babler and Seltenheim also congratulate Eveline Huber, who won St. Johann, as well as Barbara Schweitl in Puch, Erich Rohrmoser in Saalfelden and Harald Humer in Strobl. “Many thanks to everyone who has worked so brilliantly to achieve these successes.
