ÖVP integration policy: 10 million euros for real estate deals instead of integration

Vienna (OTS / SK) – SPÖ integration spokesman Christian Oxonitsch sees the criticism that the SPÖ has been expressing of the integration fund for years, now finally confirmed by the indictment of the WKStA that became known today: “The integration fund was set up in such a way that it was subject to parliamentary control completely withdrawn. For years, Integration Minister Raab has simply smashed inquiries regarding the financial situation of the fund and the use of the money paid to the fund by taxpayers. Now there is a misappropriation of 10 million euros in the room. That would never have happened if the demand, which the SPÖ wanted to implement by means of an application, had given in. 10 million euros that were probably spent on real estate deals instead of integration – that is the integration policy of the ÖVP.” (Conclusion) sd/lp
